Lakewood’s “Music in the Chapel” concerts showcase a variety of artists in one of our city’s most beloved architectural treasures — the Lakewood Memorial Chapel.
On Sunday, February 10, experience the blending of ancient souls from Syria and China as Issam Rafea and Gao Hong create beautiful improvisational music with two ancient instruments, the Syrian oud and the Chinese pipa. They were recently featured in-studio on Twin Cities Public Television’s Almanac show.
The concert begins at 3:00 p.m. Doors open at 2:00 p.m. Self-guided tour brochures of Lakewood’s Memorial Chapel will be available.
